Well, yes and no.

one of the only GUCCI
discount stores
in the whole world.

So two things about me,
I love discount stores and
I have a weird affinity
for luxury goods and I know it sounds like
these two things contradict each other
but one normal day, I'm
a kind of bargain hunter.
I'm still at the point of sale,
I always have coupons,
I love finding the best sales
but I also have several times in my life
splurges on a pretty
expensive luxury goods
brands like GUCCI and Louis Vuitton.
Now crossing these two worlds,
my love for the designer and my
love for offers, rarely happens
and that's because
a lot of these really
high-end designer brands
i don't want to have sales
or have factory outlets
because they think so
devalues their brand.
Brands like Burberry and Louis Vuitton
have actually admitted
burn their unsold goods
so that they don't have
to sell it at a discount.
Burn them, burn them perfectly
good Louis Vuitton bags.
But GUCCI is one of
very few luxury brands
who actually
some factory outlets
where they sell the unsold goods
from all over the world
and this is where we are going today
to see if there is actually
such a thing like cheap GUCCI.

Okay so when I started planning this video
I thought it would be cool
that instead of going to the store
and show you my experience
that I would like
also compare prices
between GUCCI stores full price
and this factory store.
So I already have two GUCCI elements.
I have this blush pink
belt in size 100.
I checked the website and
currently sells for $ 460.
The second item I have is
this Marmont camera bag
in the small size.
I love this bag.
It's like my daily life
most used handbag.
It was very expensive however.
Honestly i can't believe
I spent that much on a bag
but it currently sells on
GUCCI website for $ 1,290.
And I wanted to make sure that
we can compare GUCCI items
of different prices so
in preparation for this video
I went to the GUCCI store at full price
and bought two of their
cheapest items
so we can compare.
So the first thing, in this tiny little box,
I have this blue flower
twilly scarf printed for $ 195
and they don't really
have that one
listed on the site
but I found some that were very similar
which were also listed in 195.
And second, a bigger box, I
got the GG rubber slides
and I actually have them in men
instead of women.
I just prefer the fit
but these were $ 250 in store
and the same price is posted online.

in Palm Springs tomorrow.

And you would think with
like the popularity of GUCCI
if there are only a few
these outlets around the world
that people would talk about it more
and it would be more like a common acquaintance
but i feel like most
people don't even know
that it is one thing.
Like the only reason I knew it was a thing
because when i came
Palm springs for my birthday
I was looking for nearby outlets
and I was like GUCCI has a
exit, what the hell?
But what I thought was really interesting
is their Yelp page for that
GUCCI output is so bad.
